ABOUT THE COURSE


Psychological safety is vital for innovation, creativity and team cohesion, and this course provides you with a toolkit to directly address current events ranging from the aftermath of the global pandemic to ensuring racial justice is infused in your workplace culture. This last year has shown us just how stressors undermine the mental health and wellbeing of staff. The Free Minds Executive Leadership Course provides you with tools and practices backed by evidence-based psychological science to not just help you and your staff feel safe in these uncertain times, but thrive in them.

Our 8-week cohort-based experience includes a one-hour weekly group session, as well as 4 hours of personal one-on-one executive leadership consultation with Dr. Isaiah Pickens. You will develop a clear plan for your organization from a psychologist to see problems and solutions through a wellness and public health lens, as well as a DEI and trauma lens. At the completion of the eight weeks you will have a toolkit that will be a roadmap for integrating wellness practices and creating equitable and inclusive policies in the systems your company already has in place.

COMPLETING THIS COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

  • Create a toolkit to serve as a roadmap for creating equitable and inclusive policies in the workplace
  • Incorporate wellness and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in your organizational mission, vision and values
  • Integrate routine practices that help promote staff bringing their whole selves to work in a way that aligns with the company’s mission
  • Develop strategies to increase innovation, creativity, team cohesion, synergy and trust, while decreasing stress, burnout and turnover
